The Heisman Trophy Presentation 2009 will air tonight on ESPN at 8pm Eastern Time and buzz has been going for weeks as to which college football star will be given the prestigious award. The contenders this year are: Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, Texas quarterback Colt McCoy, Stanford's Toby Gerhart, Nebraska's defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, and Alabama running back Mark Ingram. Who's your vote?

According to ESPN, it's a tough race between these 5 athletes. Tebow's won before (he's one of two players to win the Heisman as a sophomore) and McCoy has already been nominated before. The other guys are also some of the best college football stars. We're sure the anticipation is mounting, for fans, and, of course, the players.

Three previous Heisman winners will also be recognized at the presentation dinner, to be held Monday night, according to WorldSportsBuzz.com: Billy Cannon (LSU, 1959) on the 50th Anniversary of his award, Doug Flutie (Boston College, 1984) on the 25th Anniversary of his award and Ron Dayne (Wisconsin, 1998) on his 10th Anniversary.

Tonight is the Heisman Trophy Presentation for 2009 on ESPN, scheduled for 8pm eastern, 7pm central time and it will take place at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square.
